An affordable 2 lens-element 127mm aperture achromatic telescope, which achieves the theoretical resolution of this widely used optical design. Lunar, planetary and deep sky images are bright, high-contrast and high-resolution, with chromatic aberration reduced to a minimum.
The German LXD 75 mount comes equipped with tracking motors on both axes which can precisely track astronomical objects and slew at up to 4.5° per second. The AutoStar GoTo hand-box controls the LXD 75 accurately and reliably. Precision gears on both axes allow operation at all nine speeds with a minimum of backlash.
