Our expert comment:

The 12V cigarette lighter adapter has the correct plug for Skywatcher and Celestron telescopes. A cable with a different plug is required for Meade instruments, available from us as product number 10477. A connection cable for Celestron, Orion, LXD80 and Skywatcher is included. It is located in a compartment in the PowerTank.

Please consider the following advice to improve the lifetime of your battery:

  • Never discharge your battery completely. Turn off your mount before. So you can protect your mount from overvoltage.
  • Do not store the battery, when it is empty.
  • Do not charge the battery too long. Turn off your charging station as soon as the battery is fully loaded.
