Microscopes

The modern MicroBlue microscope is an entry-level instrument and is especially popular when budgets are limited. The basic model has a fixed lens condenser and a simple stage. The models with integrated mechanical stage are equipped with an Abbe condenser. All models have 35mm achromatic objectives. The accompanying rechargeable batteries allow wireless operation.

The MicroBlue is also available with an LCD screen. These microscopes include all the normal MicroBlue features, but are also equipped with an HD LCD screen that allows live observations, the saving of images and videos, and they even have a basic line measurement function! The models with HD LCD screen can only be operated as a stand-alone device.

EYEPIECES • Equipped with DIN WF10x/18mm • Monocular version has a secured DIN WF10x/18mm with pointer

HEAD • Monocular has 45° inclined tube • Binocular and trinocular models have a 45° tube, an interpupillary distance adjustable from 54 to 75mm, and are equipped with a ± 5 dioptre on the left eyepiece tube • Trinocular models have 30° inclined tubes, an interpupillary distance adjustable from 48 to 75mm, and are equipped with a ± 5 dioptre adjustment on the left tube • The trinocular head has a fixed light path beam splitter (50:50) and produces an upright image. • Two digital heads are available: an integrated 1.3 MP 1/2.5” CMOS sensor USB 2.0 camera 1272 x 952 pixels, or an integrated 5.0 MP 1/2.8” CMOS sensor USB 2.0 camera 2560 x 1920 pixels • LCD version has 7” LCD screen •  All heads 360° rotatable and secured with a screw, except the LCD head, which is fixed

NOSEPIECE • Monocular model MB.1001 has 3 reversed objectives • All other models have 4 reversed objectives

35MM PARFOCAL OBJECTIVES • Equipped with 35mm parfocal objectives 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25 and S40x/0.65 as standard • Models with S60X or S100x oil immersion are also available • The binocular MB.1151 and MB.1152 models are equipped with an S100x oil objective • The MB.1651 and MB.1652 models are equipped with S60x • The S40x, S60x and S100x oil immersion objectives are spring-loaded • All objectives are anti-fungus treated and are anti-reflective

FOCUSING • Coaxial coarse and fine adjustment • Friction adjustment 200 μm fine adjustment, 2 μm accuracy, 3 mm per revolution, total travel approx. 15mm • Rack stop to prevent damage to objective and specimen

STAGE • The entry-level MicroBlue MB.1001 and MB.1001-LCD have a simple 105x105mm stage with 2 clamps • All other models are equipped with a 115x100mm stage with an integrated 30x70mm X-Y stage

CONDENSER • MB.1001 and MB.1001 LCD models have fixed N.A 0.65 condenser with integrated iris diaphragm • All other models have a height adjustable N.A.  1.25 Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm

ILLUMINATION • NeoLED combined adjustable 1 W LED illumination • Binocular and trinocular models are equipped with adjustable 1 W NeoLED illumination • All models have an internal power supply/charger and 3 NiMH batteries • All models are supplied with rechargeable batteries and an external 100-240V battery charger/adapter. • The LCD versions are not battery-powered

ANTI-THEFT SLOT • A Kensington Security Slot is located on the back of the microscope to allow the instrument to be protected from theft

PACKAGE CONTENTS • Supplied with dust cover, charger, three rechargeable AA batteries, white filter, and instruction manual in polystyrene box • USB-2 cable and a micrometer 1mm/100 slides are included (for camera models) • External power supply for LCD screen • Models with 100x objective are supplied with 5ml immersion oil

DIGITAL MODELS 1.3 MP CAMERA • This digital model is equipped with a 1.3 MP USB-2 camera • Maximum resolution 1272x952, 24 bit colour depth, up to 30 frames per second • Supplied with ImageFocus 4 software as standard • The camera is guaranteed for two years

SOFTWARE • ImageFocus 4 software allows you to save images in .jpg, .tif, .bmp or .dicom format together with .avi format videos • Measurements can be performed in live or saved images • The software is compatible with Windows 10 and later, 32 and 64-bit platforms • Mac OS-light version is also available for capturing images • Free updates can be downloaded from our website at  www.euromex.com

5.0 MP CAMERA • This digital model is equipped with a 5.0 MP USB-2 camera • Maximum resolution 2560x1920, 24 bit colour depth, up to 30 frames per second • Supplied with ImageFocus Plus software as standard • Camera has two-year warranty
