Customer reviews

Almost perfect.

The National Geographic "The Heaves" globe was almost perfect. All-in-all very serviceable for my usage.

The Northern Hemisphere globe half has the star chart canted 1.588 mm at the equatorial line, causing a white crescent to appear from Hour-mark I to Hour-mark XV along where the Northern Hemisphere an Southern Hemisphere halves join. The Blue Longitudinal hour line marks sufficiently line up between North and South. But the Yellow and Red Constellation marks around the equatorial line have plus/minus 1.6 mm gaps between the North/South hemispherical lines at the equatorial line. And from Draco to Bootes Constellations are minor overprinting "fold line ripples."

My solution was to use a permanent black Marks-A-Lot on the non-printed white crescent along the equatorial line.

Also the globe is wired for EU sales, and requires a power converter for USA usage - which I acquired.
