Extra Low Dispersion
The ED glass with extremely low dispersion virtually eliminates chromatic aberration: there is no irritating colour fringing. This colour correction also ensures accurate focus and thereby a particularly sharp and bright image.
Compare the two images. The difference is especially noticeable in low light conditions, such as at dusk or dawn.
